Not long after the campaign that included a billboard in which a Buddha statue explained he was in storage because "My owner's a Jew . . . again"-which was pulled in mere days after a public outcry-Manhattan Mini Storage and Mad Injection are at it once more, with a new campaign "that empathizes with Manhattanites' unique lack of living space," according to the agency. It's a funny campaign, for sure, and it's clearly based in truth, but nothing in it is offensive enough to get pulled. "This campaign perhaps has a lighter tone than the first, but I have to admit that even though I get a big thrill at offending people, we've gotten a great response playing the New York love/hate thing," says Mad CD Mikal Reich. "A friend, now relocated to San Francisco, saw the new work and said, 'Awwww, I really miss New York.' I love that."
