Bank of Canada holds $22M review

[Toronto] Royal Bank of Canada heard pitches last week from Toronto-based agencies for its $22 million English-language account. Interpublic Group of Cos.' MacLaren McCann keeps the media buying business but did not re-pitch creative. The bank will choose by the end of October from Omnicom Group's BBDO Canada, Doner Canada, Omnicom's TBWA, WPP's J. Walter Thompson, Enterprise Creative Selling, and Goodgoll Curtis. The French-language account stays at Allard-Johnson, Montreal.
