BK taps C.O.D. for Latin America biz

[Miami] Burger King named independent U.S. Hispanic shop C.O.D., Miami, to develop brand creative work for Latin America after a pitch including a number of Burger King's local agencies in the region. "It's a concerted effort from our franchisees who recognize the need to have one brand voice, and develop better quality creative through combined budgets," said Willie Zamora, director-marketing for Burger King Latin America/ Caribbean region. So far seven Latin countries are contributing to the brand campaign and more may join, Mr. Zamora said. The assignment doesn't affect local agency relationships, he said.
