Daimler, Omnicom create media agency

[Stuttgart, Germany] DaimlerChrysler and Omnicom Group have set up a central media management agency called DaimlerChrysler Media Team to coordinate media planning and buying strategy for all the company's car and truck brands worldwide outside North America. DCMT will operate as a unit of Omnicom media company, Da Vinci. Omnicom's OMD and WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia will continue as the media agencies.
