[Bonn, Germany] Deutsche Telekom consolidated its $400 million to $450 million media planning and buying in five European countries with its biggest agency, Grey Global Group's MediaCom, Dusseldorf, after a pitch. MediaCom was already the incumbent for Telekom's $280 million German media buying business. Interpublic's Universal McCann, Frankfurt, handled German media planning, and did both media buying and planning for the U.K., Netherlands, Czech Republic and Austria. WPP Group's MindShare, Frankfurt, also pitched.
