Euro RSCG tipped to win LG account

[London] LG Electronics is expected to award Havas-owned Euro RSCG London its $80 million pan-European account, with sibling MPG handling media, according to agency executives. Euro RSCG beat WPP Group's Young & Rubicam and Publicis Groupe networks Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett. LG execs did not return calls. The Korean consumer-electronics manufacturer formed LG Electronics Europe six months ago to develop a more consistent brand. Previously, each country reported directly to Korea and chose agencies locally.
