[London] Two years after reluctantly selling media-specialist network Tempus Group to WPP Group, Chris Ingram is launching Ingram Partnership with two London acquisitions: strategic media agency Unity and the Gathering, a brand consultancy. Unity is one of three hot London media shops-along with Michaelides & Bednash and Naked-that do communications strategy rather than media buying. "It's a new sector, relatively small at the moment," Mr. Ingram said. "I'm looking to building the communications-strategy side. We're not going to be implementing or buying spots, but we will work with clients on their brand strategy." Mr. Ingram, one of the U.K.'s best-known media executives, said he expects to open a U.S. office at some point.
