Langdon takes U.K. Euro job

By Published on .

[London] Less than two months after U.K. adman Ben Langdon started his own London agency, Ben Mark Orlando, he is leaving his two partners to become chairman of Havas' Euro RSCG Worldwide U.K. Ironically, Ben Mark Orlando partner Mark Wnek was chairman of the agency when it was called Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper. Mr. Wnek left in November and had to use his first name when he started the Ben Mark Orlando agency in January 2004 because his last name was still on Euro's door. Mr. Langdon's move reunites him with James Heekin, now chairman-CEO of Euro RSCG Worldwide. The two men worked together at Interpublic Group of Cos.' McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, where Mr. Langdon ran Europe and Mr. Heekin was chairman-CEO.
