Lowe ex-CEO joins DDB in U.K.

[London] Paul Hammersley, who was CEO of Lowe, New York, until last June and previously ran the Interpublic Group of Cos.' agency's London office, joins Omnicom Group's DDB London this month as chairman-CEO. Long one of London's top agencies, DDB's creative reputation and new-business record have suffered in recent years. Michael Bray, president of DDB Europe, said, "Paul will revitalize the agency and get it back up to where it was a few years ago."
