McD's consolidates with DDB Nordic

[Copenhagen, Denmark] McDonald's Corp. consolidated advertising for four Nordic countries with Omnicom's DDB Nordic, following a shootout with Omnicom sibling TBWA and Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett, the agency said. DDB was the incumbent in Denmark, and will also handle Sweden, Finland and Norway. In McDonald's latest regional review, agencies competed from a brief that encompassed consumer insights, agency team structure, creative and cost efficiencies. McDonald's declined to comment.
