Mercedes starts French ad review

[Paris] Mercedes-Benz France has invited incumbent Springer & Jacoby France; Omnicom's CLM/ BBDO, Paris; and Interpublic Group of Cos.' Foote Cone & Belding, Paris, to pitch for its estimated $40 million account in France. The review is a blow for Interpublic-backed Springer & Jacoby, which opened a Paris office in 2001 to handle Mercedes in France.
