[London]Coca-Cola Great Britain moved the $40 million U.K. Coke Classic account to independent shop Mother from Interpublic Group of Cos.' McCann-Erickson Worldwide after a head-to-head pitch. The move comes only a week after McCann lost the $37 million Coke Classic business in France to Havas' BETC Euro RSCG, Paris. In the U.K., McCann keeps Vanilla Coke and Cherry Coke. Over the last year, McCann won just one in five Coke reviews in Asia, picking up the business in China but losing Coke in Australia to WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather, to Publicis Groupe-backed Bartle Bogle Hegarty in Singapore, and to Interpublic's Lowe Worldwide in Thailand and Vietnam.
