[Stockholm, Sweden] Nokia is launching the N-gage cellphone, complete with a wireless gaming deck, on Oct. 7 backed by a global campaign from Grey Global Group's Grey Worldwide, London. "We can see that the game market still has enormous potential," said Johan Eidhagen, marketing director at Nokia Mobile Phones. He said N-gage is the first cellphone with a wireless gaming deck. A teaser billboard with the words "This is where" will be followed Oct. 7 with a global TV campaign. Ads playing on gamers' deep desire to challenge other gamers will feature locations of major gaming victories or defeats. Mr. Eidhagen said this is the first time Nokia has used the same concept and campaign worldwide. "We have done around 30 different commercials and a bit later print, outdoor, Internet and events will be added to the campaign."
