[London] Panasonic appointed Aegis Group's Vizeum, London, to handle its estimated $60 million pan-European advertising account as the Japanese consumer-electronics marketer seeks to raise the brand's profile in Europe. The company said it plans a significant increase in media spending in 2005. European creative is handled by independent agency Wire, Hamburg. The pitch, led out of Panasonic's European marketing headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany, was managed by Effective Media Management.
