Coke unfurls World Cup campaign in Germany

[Berlin] Coca-Cola here has started its first campaign for the Soccer World Championship in Germany in 2006 with the claim "It's your heimspiel-make it real."

"Millions of Soccer fans in Germany and around the world are crazy about the forthcoming tournament. The German Coca-Cola organization is delighted that the championship takes place in Germany. We feel it's great for our brands and our business," said Daryck van Rensburg, president, Coca-Cola Germany and Nordic division. "Our goal is to become the No. 1 fan brand," said Peter Rettig, general manager at Coca-Cola for Fifa World Cup. With many activities and programs, Coca-Cola enables the fans to participate in the games by winning tickets.
