Don Romano, 45, to president, Mazda Canada, with responsibility for the car maker's sales, marketing, customer service and parts operations in Canada, from VP- marketing, Mazda North American Operations. He succeeds Mike (Michel) Benchimol, who left the company. No successor was named to replace Mr. Romano. A Mazda spokesman said he didn't know whether another insider would be named, but that the announcement would come at a later date.

Martin Schlatter to first global chief marketing officer at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. Mr. Schlatter, whose official title will be VP-chief marketing officer, has served as general manager for Wrigley's U.S. business since 2004. He will report directly to President-CEO Bill Wrigley Jr. Paul Chibe will continue as senior marketing director for Wrigley's U.S. business.

Robert Taylor-Hughes, 41, to general manager of Beiersdorf Middle East FZE in Dubai, a new Beiersdorf subsidiary responsible for 16 countries in the Middle East. Mr. Taylor-Hughes was already Beiersdorf's representative in the region.
