Speedo taps DDB for branding effort

[London] U.K.-based Pentland's swimwear company Speedo International hired Omnicom Group's DDB London to develop a global brand-communications campaign to run in key markets including the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia. Speedo's marketing has been done in-house for the last few years, but the company wants to extend its reputation beyond professional sports and recreational swimwear into a wider sportswear market. No budget has been set.
