The Cannes Edition: Grand Prix Winners From Press, Design, Outdoor -- and Tourism Queensland's 'Best Job in the World'

Creativity Weekly Top 5: June 29

Published on .

In this week's episode of Creativity's Top 5, we take a look at some of the big winners from the 2009 Cannes Lions. And before you get a worried look on your face, the Titanium, Integrated and Film Grand Prix had not been awarded when this episode was filmed. What we do have is the Press Grand Prix winner, a Wrangler campaign by Fred & Farid, Paris; Nike's silk-screened posters that nabbed the Design Grand Prix; a partnership between Nestle and Japan Post called "Kit Kat Mail" that picked up the top Media prize; and a billboard made of worthless currency for The Zimbabwean newspaper from TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris, South Africa, that won the Outdoor Grand Prix. And then there's the Grand Prix magnet itself, Tourism Queensland's "Best Job in the World," which picked up the hardware hat-trick of PR, Direct and Cyber Grand Prix.
