Vampire Drama Proves More Social Than Ever, According to Bluefin Data

The ratings for last night's Season 5 premiere of "True Blood" aren't out yet, but our editorial partner Bluefin Labs, the Cambridge-Mass.-based social-TV analytics company, has already put together this snapshot of just how the show's return performed in social media.

The episode generated more comments on social platforms than any previous premium-cable premiere in Bluefin's historical data set, ranked second in comments for a cable drama season premiere (ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" is still tops by that measure) and came in sixth among any season premiere across all genres and networks.
