NEW YORK ( -- The China International Advertising Festival, which for 15 years has been a low-key regional event, displayed new levels of sophistication and international allure this year. The just-ended event, held in the city of Heifei, drew much stronger attention from other countries than ever before. One attendee was Terry Savage, executive chairman of the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. He noted that Asia was rapidly evolving into a center for creative advertising excellence.
