NAB Predicts $2 Billion in Annual Mobile DTV Revenue

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- This week's National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas may have kicked off with a scolding from keynote speaker Tim Robbins but it quickly coalesced back into being an industry pep rally. That was nowhere more evident than in the evangelical-like stage performance of NAB president-CEO David Rehr. A NAB forecast sees mobile digital TV advertising generating $2 billion a year. And, Forrester Research VP Josh Bernoff assured broadcasters that their fear of competition from user-generated video content was greatly exaggerated.
