Sears Ups Its Stakes in New York Fashion Week

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- In its continuing struggle to revitalize its brand and re-ignite sales, Sears is putting new emphasis on its connection to high fashion. For the past four years, Sears has maintained a low-key marketing presence at New York Fashion Week in Bryant Park. But this year the retailer kicked out the jams with its own large expo tent and extensive product line displays. Ad Age retail reporter Natalie Zmuda takes us on a video tour.
