Ugly Clash Over Ad Money Closes Ohio Anti-Smoking Foundation

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- In an unusually strident clash between a state government and its anti-smoking advertising arm, Ohio lawmakers have dismantled the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation. More than $200 million slated for anti-smoking advertising will now go into an economic stimulus package.
