Production: Electronic Arts turned to its users to help brand its NFL Tour arcade video game. Producing segments with the players in the running to be depicted on the game and letting users vote online let fans get a feel for the players they wanted to support.

Result: Users chose Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Chargers in EA Sports' first experiment with letting video-game enthusiasts choose who would be the face of one of the company's arcade games.
