Adap.TV is betting overlay ads, which lie across the video and interrupt the program if clicked upon, will become the de-facto standard. VideoNuze notes that Adap.TV is competing with YuMe, blinkx, VideoEgg, YouTube, Brightcove, AdBrite, and Viddler in the contextual analysis ad market.
