Barry Diller Chooses Brightcove for Web Video

IAC, Barry Diller’s Internet commerce company, selected Brightcove as a Web video services provider for sites including Ticketmaster, CitySearch and 23/6. That means the IAC companies will use Brightcove to create, manage, publish, distribute and wring revenue from Web video. Brightcove is shifting its focus toward media companies that publish Web video, away from some of its earlier businesses such as a consumer-oriented Web video destination, and smaller, private video publishers. IAC joins other Brightcove media clients including A&E Television Networks, CBS Corp., Discovery Communications, Dow Jones & Co., and others.
