‘Big Shot’ Spawns Own Web Video Company

“Big Shot Live,” an online talent competition series promoted by local CBS stations nationwide, is just six weeks old but already claims 750,000 monthly visitors and15 million monthly page views, NewTeeVee reports. Parent company Madison Road plans to spin off the show as a separate company, with $5 million to $10 million in funding. New episodes have been temporarily suspended, but will be added daily when they return.
