BitTorrent Urges Web Carriers to Bolster P2P

BitTorrent CEO Ashwin Navin says high-speed Web providers should accommodate the peer-to-peer technology that more services are using to distribute Web video, BeetTV reports. Internet service providers need to upgrade because large media companies need P2P to deliver their content, Navin said. It’s a theme that’s hot right now, as broadband providers are being accused of restricting P2P data flow as they manage their network traffic.
