Brightcove to End Paid Video Service

As of July 31, Internet TV platform Brightcove will discontinue paid video downloads and rentals, due to anemic customer use. According to the company, less than 1% of customers tried the feature, and even fewer used it on a regular basis. The company alerted its customers about the change in an email sent today.
