Broadband Media Ad Revenue Will Reach $6.6 Billion by 2012

By Sergio Published on .

A new report by Parks Associates says that broadband media ad revenue will reach $6.6 billion by 2012, about half of the projected $12.6 billion revenue from all new-media (including mobile phones and other personal devices). Broadband media revenue was one of the major topics of contention in the Writers Guild of America strike. Under their proposed contract writers will begin to claim 2% of broadband revenue from shows streamed online in three years.
