Business News Bigs Split on Value of Web Video

PaidContent’s Future of Business Media conference in New York hosted a cool panel on how video fits into the picture for business news organizations and David Kaplan provided the wrap-up: Reuters says video is slow to produce and doesn’t draw much of an audience unless Britney’s involved. Bloomberg says it’s “very skeptical about video as the next big thing.” CNNMoney.com says video has to be successfully integrated into other content to work. AP said it doesn’t know where its Web video sweet spot is yet.
