Cable, Satellite Subscribers Prefer Content on TV

A study from Nielsen and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) found that 94% of adult cable and satellite service subscribers still prefer to watch programs on a TV set rather than online, the Hollywood Reporter says. Of those surveyed, one-third had watched a program online. Some 87% of those who watched TV programs online did so on a TV network Web site.
