CBS’s Last.fm to Start Ad-Supported Music Streams

CBS announced today that it will begin offering full-length ad-supported music streams through Last.fm. The new service has already struck agreements with EMI, Sony/BMG, Universal Music Group and Warner, in addition to 150,000 independent artists and labels, TVWeek.com says. The announcement comes after speculation that the new service would incorporate videos on the social site, as reported by WebVideoReport yesterday.
