Center for Social Media Outlines Fair Use of Online Video

The Center for Social Media at American University has developed a code of best practices to guide fair use of copyrighted video online, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The code defends liberal re-use of copyrighted work online as long as the poster’s clear goal is to spur online discussion of the work and not just to entertain.
