Comcast, BitTorrent Work Together

Cable operator Comcast and file-sharing company BitTorrent are trying to work out their differences after Comcast last year was accused of delaying some of BitTorrent’s file-sharing traffic. Comcast said the peer-to-peer traffic was slowing up the broadband service for all users. According to PaidContent, the two companies are discussing how BitTorrent’s applications and Comcast’s system can work more efficiently together, such as updating network architecture to optimize media delivery and increasing network capacity.
