The CW television network has lost 28% of its 18- to 34-year-old targeted audience this season, the Wall Street Journal
reports. The two-year-old network, a merger of CBS’s UPN and Warner Bros.’ The WB, could face trouble if its rating continue to fall. The network announced it will incorporate more online elements that will reach its tech savvy audience. Last month The CW said it would keep new “Gossip Girl” episodes offline
, hoping to drive viewers to broadcast TV. Ratings, however, have remained about flat.
