Death Strikes ‘Alive in Baghdad’

The award-winning Web-video news show “Alive in Bahgdad” suffered a loss with the death of one of its reporters, 22-year-old Shafeya Al-Moussawi. He was killed during an Iraqi National Guard raid in his neighborhood in Sadr City. The death caused “Alive in Baghdad” creator Brian Conley, who has said the unfiltered citizen journalism site is barely making it financially, to consider shutting down, according to NewTeeVee. Donations to a fund set up for Al-Moussawi seemed to have heartened Conley, however.
