HBO to Offer Programs on iTunes; Is NBC Next?

By Sergio Published on .

HBO programs and movies soon will be available for download on iTunes, reports Portfolio, citing HBO sources. Details were undisclosed, but the deal is expected to give HBO a different price structure than other content providers have received. NBC Universal pulled its content off iTunes because it wanted to price episodes of its content differently but was refused. Some episodes of NBC programs, though, have begun to appear on the U.K.’s iTunes store, including “Heroes” and “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,” at different prices, MacWorld.com notes.
