The Heavy Corp., owner of video site Heavy.com
, which is geared toward men 18-34, plans to expand video ad platform Husky Media
into its own venture. While the corporation’s leadership will oversee both groups, the structure remains subject to the approval of corporate shareholders and the board of directors. Heavy.com also announced its popular series “The Burly Sports Show,”
which averages 2 million monthly visitors, will be distributed on CBSSports.com
. Under the deal, “Burly” will be distributed using Husky’s “video-skin” player and CBSSports.com will manage ad sales on its network.
