Hulu Eschews 30-Second PreRoll Ads

The Web video joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp. is forward-looking enough not to adopt the scourge of Web video, the half-minute spiel that runs before too many clips. Brian Morrissey reports that Hulu CEO Jason Kilar understands that the ads degrade the users' experience. That report came a day after Brian Steinberg reported that Hulu will pair 30 second ads with some of its longer content.
