JumpTV Wrapped 2007 With Jump in Revenue

By Sergio Published on .

Fourth quarter revenue for Canada’s JumpTV surged to $4.8 million from $749,000 during the year before, PaidContent notes. The increase is largely due to the IPTV/TV rebroadcaster’s acquisition of XOS Technologies’ broadband network division. The quarter showed net losses of $10.5 million, compared to $8.7 million last year. The company’s total subscribers jumped to 92,000 at the end of 2007, compared to 28,100 in 2006.
