Jackass, the popular stunt TV and film franchise, is launching JackassWorld.com, CNET reports. The Web site will feature antics from Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Magera and the whole Jackass group. The franchise’s most recent film, Jackass 2.5, was released online before DVDs went on sale and has racked up over 2.6 million streams. The group will celebrate the site’s launch by controlling MTV’s programming for 24 hours this weekend. Knoxville recently tore his urethra while filming an Evel Knievel tribute special. Comedy.com also launched this week after securing funds from Prism VentureWorks and Walden Venture Capital, PaidContent reports. This site is owned by Dean Valentine, former president and CEO of UPN and president of Walt Disney Television. The site will feature original content and series, such as the satirical “The HollyWoody Show” and “Newest New News,” as well as clips from stand-up comedians.
