Microsoft Gets ‘Move’d; Olympics Sneak Peek

By Sergio Published on .

Microsoft’s Silverlight multi-platform and -browser video plug-in will incorporate Move Networks’ media player into its technology, NewTeeVee reports. Move, which is currently used by ABC and Fox for its content delivery, works with content size and bandwidth availability to allow smoother high-quality video streaming without buffering times. LostRemote also has a sneak peek of NBC’s online video coverage of this summer’s Olympic Games. Viewers will have to download the Silverlight plug-in to watch the videos. There’s no word yet as to whether Move’s inclusion in Silverlight will be completed in time for the Olympics.
