Murdoch Says He Plans to Make WSJ.com Free

News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch said he expects to make the Wall Street Journal’s online presence, WSJ.com, free, abolishing subscriptions. That decision isn’t final, a company spokesman said, according to the New York Times. The Journal, which Murdoch acquired by buying Dow Jones, is one of the print publishers pushing online with increased video offerings.
