NBC Universal, Tech Renew Piracy Offensive

NBC Universal teamed with AT&T, Microsoft and other technology companies yesterday to announce a new attack on content pirates, the Hollywood Reporter reports. The companies, which represented the content, Web access and software industries agreed that something more needs to be done to stem piracy, which is growing with the proliferation of peer-to-peer technology. The meeting was short on details, but may signal a more collaborative approach to the issue.
