Nielsen Will Record Internet TV Viewership

By Sergio Published on .

Nielsen announced it will introduce a system of measuring TV show viewership on computers and new media devices by the end of 2008, AdAge reports. The company aims to more accurately account for the way people watch programming in non-traditional ways. , noting that the number of online video viewing devices (computers, iPods, mobile phones, etc.) will rise to 183 million by 2011.
