Omniture to Track Video Interaction

Omniture announced it will release a new version of its SiteCatalyst traffic reporting software that will track video use, MediaPost says. Through the new software, marketers will be able to measure the way video ads are viewed, including how long a clips plays, when a viewer skips through the video and which clips lead to user conversion. The software will be compatible with Quicktime, RealPlayer and Windows Media Player as well as Flash videos.
