Print Magazines Venture to Web Video Sites

Several magazine companies’ Web properties have announced partnerships with video-sharing sites to stream original content online, MediaPost reports. Hearst Digital Media will syndicate original content on YouTube from several lifestyle titles, including Harper’s Bazaar, Seventeen and Esquire. Hearst, Condé Nast and Time Inc. have inked a deal with AOL to stream content from titles such as Redbook (Hearst), Architectural Digest (Condé Nast) and Real Simple (Time Inc.). Hachette Filipacchi also announced that it will use the Glam Media online network of lifestyle sites as its ad seller for Premiere.com.
