'Quarterlife' Debuts, Few Care

The highly anticipated network broadcast of "Quarterlife," the Web series picked up by NBC during the writer’s strike, debuted with dismal numbers last night. According to TVWeek.com, the show gave NBC its poorest performance in the 10 p.m. hour in almost 17 years, scoring a 1.3 rating in the highly coveted 18-49 age group. “Quarterlife” marked the first Web series picked up for broadcast on network TV.
