Regional Network Showcases User-Generated Video

By Sergio Published on .

Web video content is again making the experimental leap to broadcast, but this time, it’s regional. MyNDY Channel 23 of central Indiana will broadcast a “best of” segment from its UGC Web video arm, IndyTube.tv, on March 15. The station hopes the “for locals, by locals” element of the foray will help the broadband-to-broadcast translation succeed where others have crashed and burned. MyNDY will choose content based on popularity, and also is throwing in prizes to sweeten the pot.
